Personalisation

Polo Shirts are one of the best garments to have personalised as your logo can be put in any position using any method. The most common type of personalisation is embroidery which uses colour thread which is sewn onto the garment using special embroidery equipment. Heat Pressing uses a special material which is heat pressed onto the garment; this is most common if it requires big numbers or letters on the back of the garment. The last and least common is printing using a wide range of colours with a detailed image which is sprayed onto the Polo Shirt and gives a high quality finish.

History

A polo shirt as now commonly known was in fact called a tennis shirt and it is also known as a golf shirt. A polo shirt is a T-shaped shirt with a collar which has either two or three buttons but in some cases it may have a zipper instead.
The Polo shirt was invented in 1926 by a former seven time grand slam winner, Rene Lacoste.
